Ovid, Michigan (Wednesday, July 16, 2008): Effective immediately, Matt Prieur, who has served as the Director of Media and Public Relations and Public Address Announcer with the ASA Late Model Series since the 2005 racing season, has resigned!

"I'm looking ahead to the 2009 racing season and what better time than now?" Prieur said. "I'm going to explore other options within the industry and see what's out there."

"It's just like a driver wanting to better themselves and move up the ranks, officials are the same way and I look forward to the new challenges I will face in the near future." He added.

For the immediate future, Prieur will still maintain his Public Relations business, M.P.H. Promotions and will honor all existing client obligations for the remainder of the 2008 racing season!
